GeoCultura takes its responsibility for protecting tour participants and staff from Covid-19 very seriously. We will follow whatever guidance is current at the time of departure, which may require that all individuals on a tour be vaccinated or have had Covid within the previous six months and that they have had a negative Covid test within three days prior to the start of a tour. We will implement appropriate protocols, such as providing well-ventilated transportation and ensuring social distancing where appropriate.  Full details of our protocols will be sent to participants prior to the start of a tour.

If a tour must be cancelled due to Covid-related travel restrictions, a full refund will be issued.

How are you addressing the Covid risk on tours?

No, we ask all participants to arrange their own travel to and from the tour destination. All other transport (from the tour start to the tour end date) is included in the tour price.

The number of participants on each tour will vary based on demand and available accommodation. All tour numbers will be capped, typically no more than 14..

Absolutely! For some of our tours a price supplement is applied for single occupancy of double rooms, but an increasing number of our tours now have no single supplement. Our tours are very popular with solo travellers. Join like-minded individuals on the walks, excursions and  group dinners. Whether you’re travelling solo or with others, you’ll quickly meet new people.

Yes, GeoCultura tours are intended for everyone. We advise that you contact us before booking to ensure that we can accommodate your requirements as some tours may require additional support.

Yes of course, GeoCultura’s team will be happy to advise on hotels local to the start/end destinations of each tour. In most instances you will be required to book directly with the accommodation provider.

Can I add additional nights' accommodation on to the tour?

No problem, when booking a GeoCultura tour we ask you for your dietary requirements and make every effort to ensure we can accommodate these.

Yes. This is a requirement for attendance on all tours. We ask that you acquire comprehensive travel insurance.

VISA requirements will depend on the location of the tour and your nationality. We strongly advise for you to check your local embassy website for VISA information. GeoCultura can assist with letters of support but we are unable to directly make VISA applications on your behalf.

GeoCultura advise a standard kit list which can be viewed here. In addition, local currency, travel documents, passport and easily transportable luggage is advised. There may be also be tour-specific items that we advise you to bring, and these will be detailed in the tour itinerary.

A deposit of 10% is payable on booking with balance due 60 days before the tour begins. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions page for additional details.
